I just returned from an incredible 8-day stay in Port Douglas, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The De Luxe Studio provided breathtaking water views and stunning sunsets from the balcony, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The staff, especially Kelly at the front desk, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, close to everything I wanted to explore, and the pool with hot tubs offered a great way to relax. However, the Wi-Fi on the third floor was disappointing, and I found the walk to my room quite complicated, which detracted a bit from the overall ease of my stay.

I stayed in a De Luxe Studio that was modern and clean, with beautiful views, though access involved navigating some stairs which could be challenging.

The service was outstanding; the staff were knowledgeable and really went out of their way to help with local recommendations.

I had a lovely time staying at this resort. The location in the heart of the CBD made it so convenient for walking to restaurants, shops, and the marina. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and I appreciated the spacious room with a kitchen on the balcony. However, I noticed that my stay was a bit noisy at night due to the music from nearby venues. Overall, it was a great experience, although I would suggest avoiding rooms overlooking Macrossan street if you're looking for a quiet stay.

Rooms

The room was spacious with a well-equipped kitchen on the balcony, ensuring no food smells inside. However, noise can be an issue if your room faces the street.

The resort has a great location, being close to pubs, restaurants, and shops, making it convenient for dining options. The rooms offer a good balance of comfort and space, especially the Club Studio we stayed in. However, the reception hours were quite limited, which was frustrating, and some features of the room, like the upkeep of the screens, could use improvement.

Rooms
7.0
We stayed in a Club Studio with a spacious lounge/bedroom area and a large bathroom. While the kitchenette worked well, it wasn't suitable for elaborate cooking.
Service
5.0
The reception hours were disappointing, closing by 4 PM most days, which isn't ideal for late arrivals.
Location

The resort is perfectly located in the heart of Port Douglas, making it easy to explore shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Basic amenities like free Wi-Fi were appreciated, but the pool area and surroundings were smaller than expected, which may not suit everyone.

I had a decent stay at the hotel thanks to its central location and friendly staff, but I wasn't overly impressed with the room condition and the noise levels. The amenities were satisfactory, but again, I found the price wasn't justified for what I experienced. For those looking for a quieter and more modern place, this might not be the best option.

Rooms

Our apartment was quite spacious, but unfortunately, it was outdated with poor repairs, including a sagging mattress and a dripping shower. The lack of renovations made it feel overpriced.
Service

The front desk staff were genuinely lovely and helpful during our stay, adding a warm touch to our experience.
Location

The hotel is in a lively area close to many shops and restaurants, which made walking around quite enjoyable, though it did come with noise from nearby nightlife.
Dining

I didn’t indulge much in dining here, but there seemed to be decent options nearby.
Facilities

The pool was nice enough for a dip but could use a bit of maintenance. It was mostly enjoyable, but it wasn't a standout feature.

I had quite a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, the location is fantastic—right near the vibrant end of town with easy access to shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made my stay enjoyable. However, the outdated facilities and noise from nearby nightlife were a bit disappointing. Additionally, the absence of staff during the night raises serious safety concerns.

Rooms
7.0
The room I stayed in was a bit dated but comfortable enough. There was definitely a quirky charm to the 'Flintstones' furniture, which reflects the age of the hotel. The beds were really comfortable, though!
Service
6.0
The service was good and the staff was always ready to assist when needed. However, the nighttime absence of staff left me feeling uneasy about safety.
Location
9.0
The hotel is perfectly located for anyone wanting to explore the vibrant nightlife and dining options in town. Everything was within easy walking distance, which was a huge plus!
Dining
Facilities

The hotel facilities could use a refresh. While they’re functional, the overall appearance is quite dated and could benefit from some renovation.
